About Dr Paul Holmes

Specialist Chiropractor in Edinburgh | MChiro

If you’ve found your way here, it’s likely because something hasn’t resolved in the way you expected.

You may have tried treatment.
You may have been reassured.
You may have been told everything looks fine.

And yet your symptoms persist.

Why I Specialised

I’ve worked as a chiropractor for over fifteen years.

Early on, I began to notice a pattern in the kinds of problems people were coming in with. Not routine presentations, but people living with persistent headaches, jaw pain, or neck tension that had not improved despite appropriate care elsewhere.

These were thoughtful, capable people who had already done the sensible things.

What they needed was not more force or more exercises.
They needed more precision.

Over time, my practice specialised in complex head, jaw and neck presentations – particularly where symptoms overlap, fluctuate or resist standard treatment.

That focus led me into advanced postgraduate training with internationally recognised leaders in cranial techniques, functional neurology and complex spinal pain.

The aim was to develop the level of precision required to approach complex problems with the depth and care they deserve.

Clinic Philosophy

Persistent symptoms rarely behave in isolation.

They evolve over time.
They influence one another.
They respond to stress, posture and load in ways that aren’t always obvious.

Rather than focusing on one painful area at a time, I look for the pattern linking them.

Because persistent symptoms rarely follow a script.
Your care shouldn’t either.

Standards of Care

If I think you’d be better served elsewhere, I’ll tell you.

Most people who come here want to understand what’s really going on and whether it can change.

That’s what this clinic is here to help you work out.
